Few Decades ago, sandwich was popular only in the western world, but these days, it has become popular worldwide. The Sandwich is often eaten as a snack with tea or coffee and sometimes, it can be eaten as a main meal for a lunch and dinner. The main ingredients of any sandwich are, bread (white or brown), Egg, Cheese, Chicken, Meat, Paneer, Mayonnaise, Salad, Ketchup and Sauce etc., There are varieties of sandwiches that we making in our daily life for examples, Egg Sandwich, Veg Sandwich, Cheese Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, Meat Sandwich and Paneer Sandwich. The best thing about a sandwich is that it can be cooked in less time and at the same time, it is healthy and tasty. Healthy and tasty breakfast is one of the issues of our daily life. And at the same time, we want a healthy breakfast for our children. Children love sandwiches so lets try this, Paneer Capsicum Cheese Sandwich which is as easy as we are making other sandwiches. Ingredients:
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1 small capsicum, finely chopped
150-200 gm mozzarella shredded cheese (2 tbsp for each sandwich)
150 gm paneer (crumbled)
butter for greasing
salt and black pepper powder as per taste
tomato ketchup (1 tbsp for each sandwich)
8-10 white bread pieces
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1 small capsicum, finely chopped
150-200 gm mozzarella shredded cheese (2 tbsp for each sandwich)
150 gm paneer (crumbled)
butter for greasing
salt and black pepper powder as per taste
tomato ketchup (1 tbsp for each sandwich)
8-10 white bread pieces
Methods for cooking:
1. Take a bowl, add onion, tomato, capsicum and paneer and mix them well. And set aside.
2. Now place one bread piece, add 2-3 tbsp of this mixture and sprinkle some salt and black pepper powder. Add 2 tbsp of cheese at the top and 1 tbsp ketchup and then place another bread. As shown in the picture.
3. Heat a non-stick pan, grease with 1 tbsp of butter and then place the sandwich on the preheated pan and cook for 5 minutes, checking occasionally to avoid burning. Now flip the sandwich to other side with the help of spatula and grease with 1 tbsp butter again to this side to make it extra crunchy.
4. If needed, cook for a few more minutes on both the side so that cheese perfectly melted or till the sandwich turns golden brown.
5. Repeat this process for the rest of the sandwich.
6. Serve hot with ketchup.
