No-Oven Yummy Veg....Pan Pizza

Pizza, originated from Italy and it is called as an Italian dish. However Pizza is eaten all over the world. Pizza is one of the main street foods of Europe and America. The main ingredients of Pizza are flour, tomato sauce, Cheese and some topping such as different types of veggies, chicken, meat, sausage and chicken/meat mince, etc. Due to the unique and awesome flavor of cheese with toppings, it makes children so crazy about it that they love Pizza. Pizza is my love, it's all time my favorite and I found it as one the easiest dish to cook. Pizza is often made in the oven, but it can be done on the pan. I already shared Veg Pizza in oven as one of my recipes. Ingredients:

For dough:


75 ml of lukewarm water

1 cup of yogurt


2 tsp active dry yeast powder


1/2 tbsp salt (as per taste)


3 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp for greasing


4 cups of all purpose flour or bread flour


1 tsp baking soda double action


3 tsp sugar




For tomato sauce:



200 gm tomato puree

1 tsp sugar


1 tbsp red chili flakes


1 tbsp paprika powder


1 tbsp ginger garlic powder (half tsp each)



1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp lemon juice

2-3 tbsp oregano herbs

salt as per taste



2 tbsp black pepper powder

1
tbsp olive oil



For topping:



2 Capsicum (green, yellow or red), thinly slice or finely chopped

1 tomato, thinly slice or finely chopped

1 medium size onion, thinly slice or finely chopped

500 gm shredded Mozzarella cheese


Directions for cooking:



1. Take an empty bowl, then add flour, salt, baking soda, yogurt and olive oil.


2. Take another bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water and let it settle for 10 mins.



3. Now mix this mixture and knead it for 5-10 mins or till it becomes a soft dough. Cover it with cling drape and let it rise for 6-8 hrs.







4. Now take a large bowl, add capsicum, tomato and onion and then mix them well.

5. Take a non-stick pan, heat oil, add tomato puree, salt, black pepper powder, red chili flakes, paprika powder, onion powder, ginger and garlic powder, oregano herbs, sugar and lemon juice. Cook for  5-10 minutes or until thickens.

Now your dough has risen just knead for a few minutes. And divide it into 6-8 small size or 4 medium size or 2 large size balls. As shown in the picture.










7. With the help of rolling pin, flatten each ball into pizza base size and spread 2-3 tbsp sauce over the top of the base and sprinkle some cheese then decorates your favorite toppings.


8. Preheat the non-stick pan, and place the base over it and cover lid and cook for 10-15 minutes or until bottom crust gets golden brown and cheese melted completely.

9. Remove the Pizza from pan to a cutting board and cut each Pizza into 4-6 slice.

10. Serve hot with ketchup.
