Fruit Salad Parfait With Whipped Cream

The Parfait is originates in France around 1890. In French, the word 'Parfait' means Perfect. The Parfait is a traditional Dessert and In France, Parfait is made by boiling cream, sugar, egg and syrup to create a custard like puree.
The American Parfait is made by layering ice cream, parfait cream, granola, nuts or yogurt and it is usually served in tall, thin and clear glasses topped off with fruits or whipped cream.
Mango is in season and Fruit Salad Parfait is the perfect summer dessert. Here, In this recipe instead of Greek yogurt or ice cream I used Whipped Cream which is rich in fat and high in calories, contains calcium and certain minerals and it is a good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K. 
Fruit is my first love and when talk about the cream and fruit together. Yes, I can die for it, this recipe is solely made for me and I can't wait anymore to have this on my plate. Enjoy this delicious summer dessert, which is healthy, tempting and fabulous. Ingredients: 
1 pack Weikfield Whipping Cream Mix
100 ml cold milk
2 cups of fresh Mango, chopped
2 cups of Papaya, chopped
2 cups of Grapes, chopped

Method:
1) Take a bowl and add a Weikfield Whipping Cream, mix entire content of this pack in 100 ml of cold milk. As shown in the picture.
2) Keep it in the deep freezer for about 15 minutes. As shown in the picture.
3) Whip the mixture with an electric beater for 4 minutes, at high speed or until it becomes rich and fluffy. As shown in the picture.

4) Refrigerate for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes the Whipped Cream is set and ready to use. As shown in the picture.
5) In the meanwhile, chopped the mango, grape and papaya. Mix them well and set aside. As shown in the picture.

6) Now, start assembling Fruit Salad Parfait With Whipped Cream. As shown in the picture. (Note, here you can add any fruits of your choice, such as Pineapple, Strawberry, Banana and Apple etc.)

7) Take a serving glass add, 1/2 mix fruit salad and add 4 tbsp of Whipped Cream. Repeat this again. As shown in the picture. 
8) Yours Fruit Salad Parfait With Whipped Cream is ready to serve. Serve chilled. As shown in the picture.

Phirni /(Rice Pudding)....Summer Sweet Dessert

What is Phirni?

irni is a creamy rice/sweet pudding which is made up of ground rice, milk, sugar, almonds, pistachios, saffron, green cardamom and kewra essence. Phirni (Rice Pudding) is a popular sweet dish. Although, dessert is a perfect sweet for all occasion, Phirni (Rice Puddding) is often eaten during festivals and during summer it is mostly demanded by people. Phirni (Rice Pudding) is originated during the Mughal Empire in India. Phirni (Rice Pudding) is very similar to Rice Kheer, but it has one slight distinction between Rice Kheer and Rice Phirni, that Rice Kheer is made up of Whole Basmati Rice whereas, Rice Phirni is made up of Coarsely Ground Basmati Rice. There are various types of Phirni (Rice Pudding) such as Kesar Phirni, Saffron Phirni, Rice Phirni, Almond Phirni, Mango Phirni, Strawberry Phirni and Rose Phirni. Phirni (Rice Pudding) is traditionally, serve in a bowl or an earthen clay cup, then topped with almonds, pistachios and saffron strands. Phirni (Rice Pudding) is often served chilled. Let's try this simple and yummy Phirni (Rice Pudding) and I'm sure you will definitely love this. In this recipe, I'm going to show you how to make a delicious Phirni (Rice Pudding) in just 5 simple steps.....

Ingredients:


1 liter whole milk
8 tbsp whole basmati rice
1-2 tbsp kewra essence
150-200 gm sugar (as per taste)
4 green cardamoms (powder)
water required for soaking rice
6-8 Almonds (chopped)
6-8 Pistachios (chopped)

Methods of cooking:


1) Wash and soak Whole Basmati Rice in sufficient water for at least 1 hour.

2) Take a heavy based saucepan, add milk, green cardamom powder and sugar and bring it to a boil. Turn your flame on low and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the flame now. As shown in the picture.
3) Now drain the excess water from the rice and grind them to make a paste. You can also add 4-5 tbsp of milk or water to make a perfect paste. As shown in the picture.

4) Now add this rice paste into the milk and gently mix them well. Now, turn on the flame and cook for about 10-15 minutes on low flame, keep stirring continuously and scrap the sides of the pan. Add kewra essence and stirring constantly for another 5 minutes or until it becomes thick, turn off the flame.
5) Pour this into a serving bowl or an earthen clay cup and set aside. When it comes to at room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios. Yours Phirni (Rice Pudding) is ready to serve. Served chilled. As shown in the picture.
