Naagin Hot Rolls With Naagin Hot Sauce

What is a life without creativity and what is a recipe without innovative. Few months back, Naaginsauce and GoToChef send me this hamper for writing reviews and making recipes out of it. Some of my friends said that, "The Naagin din gin gin gin gin gin gin gin mar gayi" but I said to them that "Usse wapas ana hoga''. ''Main Naagin ko wapas laungi". That day, it was a big challenge for me to create an innovative recipe through which Naagin could be alive. And all of a sudden, this recipe comes to my mind. Even I can't believe in myself that for the first time or it might be the second time or third time in my cooking journey. I have created an innovative recipe without the help of Google or any other person. The whole idea and frame was created by me. Even after seeing these Naagin Hot Rolls my sister said that "You have a creative mind, you can do anything". So, do try this recipe once. However, making this recipe is a bit challenging, but you will surely enjoy this recipe. Let me tell you what this recipe is all about, it is a mutton mince stuffed dough rolls. In this recipe, I used mutton minced to give it a nice black colour to the rolls. However, you can use any type of stuffs like paneer, chicken and mixed vegetables. Thank you so much Naaginsauce and GoToChef for sending me this hamper.

Ingredients:

For Stuffing:
250 grams mutton minced
1 medium size onion, finely chopped
1 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional)
salt as per taste
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin powder

For dough:
4 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp cooking oil
water as required for kneading
1 tsp ajwain
salt as per taste
Cooking oil for frying

Methods of cooking:

1) Take a large bowl, add all purpose flour, salt and oil mix them well, then add water as required and knead to make a smooth soft dough. Cover the dough and keep aside for at least 20-30 minutes. As shown in the picture.

2) In the meanwhile, take a pot vessel, then add the mutton minced allow it to cook on medium flame stirring continuously  until mince is fully dried. Now, add salt, black pepper powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and finely chopped onion mix them well. Cook for about 5-10 minutes and turn off the flame. As shown in the picture.

3) Now, your dough is ready, remove the dough from the bowl, sprinkle some flour on the rolling board and starts kneading the dough for a few minutes.

4) Divide the dough into 10-12 equal sizes. And make a small ball. As shown in the picture. With the help of rolling pin, flatten the dough into a big size Chapati. As shown in the picture.

5) Now, divide the Chapati into two equal halves. Place 1-2 tbsp mutton minced on one half and then roll the Chapati vertically tightly ensuring that no stuffing fall out.

6) Use the flour paste to seal them well, so that while cooking the stuffing does not fall down. And then shape it as per your desire. In this recipe, I try to shape it as a
Naagin.

7) Repeat this process for the rest of the dough.

8) Take a pot/kadai, heat oil frying, as shown in the picture. Now on medium heat, drop a Naagin Roll, deep fry the Naagin Rolls on medium to high heat.

9) Flip them and stirring occasionally for even frying. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get a nice golden brown colour.

10) When done, remove them using a slotted spoon and transfer them to a kitchen paper/tissue. So that they can absorb excess oil.

11) Repeat this process for the rest of the Naagin Rolls.

12) Yours delicious Naagin Hot Rolls is ready. Serve it hot with Naagin Hot Sauce. As shown in the picture.
