Sabudana/Sago Raita

Sabudana is also known as Tapioca pearl or Sago. Sabudana/Sago contains a high amount of Carbohydrates and high calories. Sabudana/Sago is gluten free and improves digestion. It can provide an energy boost and increases weight gain. Sabudana/Sago is a rich source of calcium and promotes strong bones. Sabudana/Sago reduces blood pressure. 
Sabudana/Sago, as we all know about Sabudana/Sago benefits. Sabudana/Sago is a pearl on the earth that gives us a lot of nutrients and Sabudana/Sago Raita is one of the most delicious and healthy recipes for Vrat (fast), one can't resist to have this on his/her plate. This Sabudana/Sago Raita is very easy to prepare and at the same time it is very healthy. All you need is Sabudana/Sago, Curd, Salt, Sugar and Spices. So, let's see step by step Sabudana/Sago Raita recipe. I'm sure you, your friends and your family will love to eat.

Ingredients: 
1 cup Sabudana/Sago
1 cup fresh yogurt (beaten)
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt or as per taste
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp roasted cumin powder 
1-2 tbsp Pomegranate seeds for garnishing 
1/4 tsp red chilli powder for garnishing

Methods:
1) Wash Sabudana/Sago 2-3 times and soak for at least 2-4 hours or overnight, strain the excess water and then blanch it for 2 minutes. As shown in the picture.



2) Take a large bowl, add beaten yogurt, sabudana/sago, sugar, salt, cumin powder and black pepper powder and mix them well. As shown in the picture.



3) Transfer this Sabudana/Sago Raita into a serving bowl and garnish with pomegranate and red chilli powder. As shown in the picture.

4) Yours delicious Sabudana/Sago Raita is ready. As shown in the picture.
