Poha Dahi Custard

Poha (Flattened Rice) is rich in Iron, Vitamin A and C. Poha (Flattened Rice) is one of the favourite breakfast foods for every Indian. Poha is cooked in no time. I love dessert and custard is my all time favourite. Dahi and Custard, this recipe is one of the best combos for summer desserts. Here, in this recipe I'm going to share how to cook Poha custard in Dahi instead of milk. If you love dessert, then don't forget to try this recipe. The main ingredients of this recipe are Poha (Flattened Rice), dahi, sugar and custard powder (Mango). Let's see this recipe step by step.

Ingredients:
1 cup Poha (Flattened Rice)
1 cup sugar
400 ml dahi (beaten yogurt)
8 tbsp cold milk
8 tbsp mango custard powder


Instructions:
1) Wash Poha (Flattened Rice) 2-3 times under water. And soak them for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, drain the excess water. And set aside. As shown in the picture. 


2) In the meanwhile, take 8 tbsp of cold milk and add 8 tbsp mango custard powder to make a smooth paste. Set aside. As shown in the picture.


3) Take a large pot vessel, add dahi (beaten yogurt), sugar, mango custard paste and poha (Flattened Rice). Mix them well. As shown in the picture.




4) Turn on the flame. Let it boil once and cook on medium flame for about 5 minutes, then on high flame for 5 minutes or until it becomes thick, stir continuously. Turn off the flame.


5) Pour this into a serving bowl and set aside. When it comes to room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least 6 hours or overnight. As shown in the picture.


6) Yours Poha Dahi Custard is ready to serve. Served chilled. As shown in the picture.
