For 140 years, Quaker has been known and inspired millions, for its amazing benefits. Quaker Oats have many benefits such as it is a rich source of dietary fiber, protein and magnesium. Quaker is a very nutritious food, but children never like to eat oats. So, In this recipe I tried to make an unhealthy snack with a healthy and nutritious ingredient like Quaker Oats. I have just given a healthy twist with the addition of the oats to regular Pakora/Pakoda. The main ingredients of this recipe are rice flour, gram flour (besan), oats, salt, onion, green chilli, red chilli powder and Homestyle masala flavour mix. While making this Quaker Oats Pakora, I did not use any homemade masala. I have only used Quaker Oats Homestyle masala flavour mix and the taste of the Pakora/Pakoda was awesome. So, do try this recipe of Quaker Oats Pakora With Homestyle Masala Flavour Mix. I'm sure you, your family and your children will love to eat.

Ingredients:
1 cup Quaker Oats1/2 cup rice flour1/2 cup gram floursalt to taste
4-5 green chillies, finely chopped
2-3 medium size onions, finely sliced
Cooking oil for frying
1-2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 sachet Homestyle Masala Flavour Mix
1 1/2 cups of water as required to make batter
Methods of cooking:
1) Take an empty bowl, then add oats, rice flour, gram flour, red chilli powder and salt. Mix this dry mixture.2) Now, add water as required, mix them well for about 5 minutes. Make sure there are no lumps in the batter. As shown in the picture. 3) Add Homestyle Masala Flavour Mix to the batter. As shown in the picture. Cover it and let it soak for about 10-15 minutes.
4) After 10 minutes, you will see the batter is almost done. Mix the batter well to get a smooth paste. Add onion and green chillies, give it an another mix.5) Take a pot/kadai, heat oil for frying, as shown in the picture. Now on medium heat, take a spoonful of the pakora batter and drop the batter mixture in the hot oil. Pour 8-9 Pakora/Pakoda in the same way.
6) Depending upon the size of the kadai you can add more or less pakora. Deep fry the Pakoras/Pakodas on medium to high heat.7) Flip them and stirring occasionally for even frying. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get a nice golden brown colour. 8) When done, remove them using a slotted spoon and transfer them to a kitchen paper/tissue. So that they can absorb excess oil. 9) Repeat this process for the rest of the pakora batter.
